Business Continuity During COVID-19 Pandemic

Desjan Pty Ltd trading as Pop-Up Community Care and Pop-Up Medics continues to follow advice from health authorities and have implemented the following actions; 

  • Restrictions and self-isolation measures for staff returning from overseas for 14 days after arrival back in Australia

  • Restrictions and self-isolation measures for staff and clients exposed to someone who is self-isolated or has tested positive to Coronavirus.

  • All client contact is business as usual implementing universal precautions including performing hand hygiene and following cough etiquette.

  • Nursing staff have completed the Department Health & Ageing COVID-19 training module

  • All staff and their immediate families have been offered influenza vaccinations

  • All surfaces in the office and out on site are cleaned regularly

  • All internal aspects of our vehicles are cleaned following each use

  • Social distancing is practiced within the office setting and as much as possible at immunisation clinics

  • Our screening processes have been increased prior to exposure to external individuals; ie at a clinic/school all students/members of the public are experiencing additional screening prior to immunisation

  • Nurses are temperature checked daily.

  • Our Board of Directors, Management team and our Company Medical Officer are in discussions on a daily basis following our business contingency plan and additional strategies as required and directed by Federal and State health authorities.
